EDUCATION • TRAINING • SUPPORT

 EMS RoadDocs IL, NFP is dedicated to providing the highest quality medical support and training. Our all-volunteer staff consists of firefighters, nurses, EMT's and other medical first responders.We provide support for sanctioned motorcycle rides and events, marathons, and our community. We support our veterans and their families, those with cancer and their families, and children with special needs. We also provide medical education and training, ie CPR/AED and First Aid classes.

Both a federal and state registered 501(c)3 Not for Profit corporation, EMS RoadDocs IL is primarily made up of two classes of members, professional and certified. Our Professional members are those who have worked or do work in the Emergency Medical Services field or who are or have been licensed as a medical professional by a recognized credentialing board. Our Certified Members are all CPR/ARD trained First Responders.

We support our communities and their assets. Each year we provide trained medical First Responders and EMS Professionals to dozens of charity events. That long list includes Motorcycle Charity rides like Ride Jainie Ride and Ride For Hope, as well as 5k and 10k walk & runs for organizations like Marklund amongs many others. We also wholeheartedly support our active and veteran men and women in uniform and work with numerous veteran related organizations in the local area.

In addition to the above, we are a ready resource for communities in need when disaster has struck. Many of our members are trained in various Emergency Management skills and have responded to localities following a disaster event. In an emergency, natural disaster, or public health incident, volunteers with the right training are invaluable resources during these times of crisis and our members are both trained and prepared to respond to such events.

In order to fill the needs mentioned above, we are strong advocates for training in advance of the need for those skills. In this respect we provide numerous nationally recognized training courses throughout the year. Most notable of these are the American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR/AED class and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons First Responder-First Aid class. We also act as an access facilitator to other related educational opportunities.

While we are made up of a large number of motorcycle enthusiasts, many of our events do not require being a motorcycle rider nor is that a requirement for membership in our organization.

We are color blind, gender blind, and blind to most other factors that too often divide Americans. We foster fellowship, camaraderie, and cooperation.  We seek to bring Americans together in service to others in need and there is no place for any kind of discrimination amongst us.

We are Americans who believe in ‘Paying it Forward’ and ‘Giving Back’ to our communities and fellow countrymen. We want to bring the finest America has to offer together in friendship and service. Our members are honest, hardworking, good people and that is the type of people we want to ride and associate with.  All like minded persons are welcome to join our organization.
